1. Ordering Items

Find the item you are looking for:

  • By clicking on ‘SHOP’ and browsing the different ranges under The Collection or look through the entire collection page by page
  • Once you have found the range you are looking for, you will be able to read individual descriptions of products and their prices by clicking on the product image
  • Once you are on the description page, by clicking on the main image you will be able to access different views.
 

2. Add to Shopping Basket

Once you have found the product that you want, just simply click the ‘Add to Basket’ button to place it in your Shopping Basket where your Basket contents will be displayed. On this page you can:

  • View the product you have chosen
  • Change the quantity of the products in your Basket by changing the number in the 'Quantity' and then clicking 'update'
  • Remove the product by clicking the 'Remove' box
  • Choose your delivery country to calculate the postage charges by using the drop-down menu and there’s only one postal charge for all your purchases
 

3. Acceptance of Orders

You will receive an email confirming that your transaction has taken place and then we will email you to confirm the order you have made. We will also email you if your transaction has been rejected for any reason. We are not obliged to accept any order you submit. Orders are deemed accepted when your payment has been processed and we issue a confirmation of your order on that basis to the email address provided by you on the order form.

If you want to continue shopping then click continue shopping to choose more products from Catherine Aitken Scotland and add them to your Shopping Basket. When you've finished shopping, click 'Confirm Order' underneath your Shopping Basket contents.

4. Purchasing the Items

Once you have proceeded to 'Checkout' log into the payment area by giving us your name and email and then providing us with your delivery address and billing address. Your email address and contact telephone number will enable us to get in touch with you as quickly as possible should there be any problems or queries relating to your order. Catherine Aitken Scotland will never pass on your details including your email address to any other third party.
All transactions and credit card details are kept on a secure server and all financial details are deleted when the transaction is complete.

You can also order over the telephone (+44)131 555 7001 or by post to Catherine Aitken Ltd Coburg House Art Studios Edinburgh EH6 6ET. If you are ordering by post, please enclose a telephone number so we can contact you and a cheque made out to Catherine Aitken Ltd for the full amount plus appropriate postage.

 

5. Choosing Your Method Of Payment

Check your order details, updating the quantities and delivery address, if necessary. Choose how you would like to pay. We currently only accept online payments.

  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • All Credit/Debit Card transactions take place on a secure server so you don't need to worry about security.

Choose your payment card type (we accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Delta, Solo and JCB cards), key in your card number (the longest number on your card), the security number (the last three digits on the signature line on the reverse of your card) and the expiry date. If you are paying with a Switch or Solo card, please also key in the start date and/or the issue number. Then click 'Submit' to continue.

Please review your order and credit card details and if they are all correct, click 'Confirm' to submit your order. Your order will NOT be processed until you click 'Confirm'. This will take you to an Order Confirmation screen with your order number and you can then log-out of the online shop and return to the Catherine Aitken Scotland Home page.

Catherine Aitken Scotland is the trading name of Catherine Aitken Limited.

 

6. Refund Policy

You have the right to cancel the Contract at any time up to the end of seven working days after you receive the Goods. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to us by hand, post or e-mail, giving details of the Goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. If you exercise your right of cancellation after the Goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the Goods to us at your own cost. You must take reasonable care to ensure the Goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.

Once You have notified us that you are cancelling the Contract, We will refund or recredit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the Goods, provided you return the Goods to Us in the same condition as they were despatched to you. If you do not return the Goods as required, We may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the Goods. If we have not yet refunded you in accordance with condition 6.4 (of the Terms & Conditions - see below) We may deduct the costs of recovering the Goods before refunding you the balance paid by you.

You do not have the right to cancel the Contract if the order is for Goods which are personalised or by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. We will notify you at the time Your order is accepted if this applies.
