EDINBURGH POSTCARD CLUTCH

An antique postcard printed on to cotton, brings the romance of Edinburgh and a holiday there to us on a clutch. On the reverse of the original postcard was written in tiny writing:

"Dear Kath I am longing to see how you look in the earrings and slippers. I haven't got my earrings yet although there are lovely shops here. I was lucky this morning, because I got a letter from you, one from Dad and one from Mary! I went in Holyrood Palace yesterday - it is much like Hampton Court but there are not so many rooms open to the public. Love from Margaret."

The little clutch is slighter larger than the original postcard at 22cms wide and 13cms high, and it's lined in a gorgeous peach silk dupion. Black zip top closure.
